Din Djarin, portrayed by Pedro Pascal, is the titular character of the Disney+ television series, The Mandalorian. He first appeared in the series premiere, also titled "The Mandalorian".

Orphaned at a young age during a Separatist attack, Din Djarin was rescued and raised by the Tribe, a group of Mandalorian warriors following the ancient Way of the Mandalore. This upbringing instilled in him a strict adherence to their creed, including never removing his helmet in front of others.

Initially operating as a bounty hunter, Djarin's life takes a dramatic turn when he is tasked with delivering Grogu (often referred to as "The Child" or "Baby Yoda") to an Imperial remnant. He ultimately chooses to protect Grogu, defying his client and setting him on a new path, one that often challenges his Mandalorian beliefs.
